lyrics
A Tired Hand
The beauty of the fall
The perspective of our souls
Somewhere in my deepest seas
I meant to reconcile the fury and the calm
The impossible dream of a sunny August and a living Marilyn
The ugly of the fault
Another remorse overdose
That noise in my Inner ear
It just meant to reconcile my desires and my pride
The impossible dream of a perfect crime in a perfect scene
Hold my hand, forever let it go
My contradictions your pain, I know
A mouth full of regret
A tired hand that cannot help
A mind never forgets
But a broken heart begs
A mouth full of secrets
A tired hand that cannot help
The beginning and the end
Of a crazy Russian roulette
The innocence of dawn
Till the sun starts shining on
The beautiful disasters I've unfolded
That loud silence in your eyes
And all those crazy fears at night
I’ll practice till my lips lie, my lips lie
It’s not the struggle of a lifetime
It’s not broken, it’s alive, right ?
It’s not the struggle of a lifetime
It’s not broken, it’s alive now
Hold my hand, forever let it go
My contradictions, your pain, I know
Such a fun demo, glad I discovered this version when I did. Also love Chris' track, even though he kinda sounds like Ed from Ed, Edd, n Eddy at times hahaha (no offense Chris, love ya man). I love Equalized, Split, and Better Half, but Caroline is such a cool track with that killer bassline. huskers_fan99
Singer/guitarist Chris Richards used to play in the post-hardcore band Q and Not U. TK Echo's inspirations go further back, towards XTC and Elvis Costello circa 1979. The band has a great sense of rhythm and melody, with spiky rhythm guitar and deliberately cheap-soundng organ and synthesizer. "Era" gets angrier and closer to punk rock. steevee300
A catchy jangle-rock concept album from the Chicago band, inspired by one of the most unbelievable jailbreaks of the 21st century so far. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 13, 2022
