lyrics
Impossible Colours
A blue pen on the table
A broken chair that used to be a throne
Music playing in the street, I’m not so sure I like it.
Red curtains in the room
I’m wondering if I should ever find an ending to the song
Find an ending to the song
Reason in those biased decisions
Is like certainty for the hardest equation
A vain attempt at self-confidence
That barely disguises the stake and the moment
How pretentious, how exciting, how deceiving, how deceiving.
There was a dream and a hope
Too close to the bone
There was an urge for freedom
Maybe too close to the bone
I thought there would be colours, it was a monochrome
We’re impossible colours, a monochrome
So say it!
I’m breaking away, I’m falling away but I’m born at last.
Run away, I’m falling away but I’m born at last
Run away, I’m falling away, I’ll be done at last

Such a fun demo, glad I discovered this version when I did. Also love Chris' track, even though he kinda sounds like Ed from Ed, Edd, n Eddy at times hahaha (no offense Chris, love ya man). I love Equalized, Split, and Better Half, but Caroline is such a cool track with that killer bassline. huskers_fan99

Singer/guitarist Chris Richards used to play in the post-hardcore band Q and Not U. TK Echo's inspirations go further back, towards XTC and Elvis Costello circa 1979. The band has a great sense of rhythm and melody, with spiky rhythm guitar and deliberately cheap-soundng organ and synthesizer. "Era" gets angrier and closer to punk rock. steevee300
A catchy jangle-rock concept album from the Chicago band, inspired by one of the most unbelievable jailbreaks of the 21st century so far. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 13, 2022
