lyrics
Past / Simple
Check the days before the break, one should never really care that much
Check the painkillers, one should never really care that much
Whatever we say
One moment and the next
It's here and somewhere else
Should let it go, should make it go away
Three pillows on the bed
There is no face
It's past / simple or so they say
Checked the days before the break, one never really cared that much
Checked the painkillers, one never really cared that much
Whatever we said
One moment and the next
Was here and somewhere else
Should let it go, should make go away
Picture yourself in broad daylight, say the name and let out a very long sigh
Then picture yourself in the dark and unravel how come you just can't stop that tide

Singer/guitarist Chris Richards used to play in the post-hardcore band Q and Not U. TK Echo's inspirations go further back, towards XTC and Elvis Costello circa 1979. The band has a great sense of rhythm and melody, with spiky rhythm guitar and deliberately cheap-soundng organ and synthesizer. "Era" gets angrier and closer to punk rock. steevee300
